- Responsible to handle the whole Importation process of the companys FMCG products from ordering until the product is in the companys warehouse.
Wholly responsible to deal / liaison with shipping lines to clear the imported goods in time.
Able to clear goods with local customs according to the rules and regulations.
Complete knowledge of Customs Clearing & Freight Forwarding
Complete knowledge of customs bond warehouse (Private and Commercial).
Monitoring shipment status and updating into transit file as well as reporting the same to Directors.
Providing detailed MIS reports to facilitate decision-making process of the management.
Responsible to keep a check on Stock sold, reorder quantities & surprised inventory check.
Handle the fleet of 25 Trucks & monitor the movement of outgoing goods till the delivery of goods at the final destination.
Store the goods in companys warehouse & monitor the inflow & outflow movement.
Stock Audit on daily basis.
Head of Logistics organise the storage and distribution of goods. In this role you would ensure the right products are delivered to the right location on time and at a good cost. You may be involved in transportation, stock control, warehousing and monitoring the flow of goods.
Understanding the whole supply chain is important so you can coordinate it effectively and liaise with suppliers of raw materials, manufacturers, retailers and consumers.
Will have responsibility for planning activities over an operational time frame (1 day to several weeks), governing smooth inbound flow, bulk storage locations, pick face layout, picking and packing capacity.
- Candidate should have experience in Import & Export of goods.
Should have handled the logistics and supply chain operations.
Experience in handling FMCG goods will be preferred.
Comprehensive knowledge of Running of distribution centers,
Warehouse management and ordering systems.
Knowledge of Fleet management
Knowledge of Import / export legislation and compliance
Must be ready to relocate at Malawi.
