QC Supervisor 

Engineering Inspector


MISSION:

  • Execute the inspection and Quality Control activities on site, collecting the relevant records;
  • Ensure that all civil construction and erection works are executed in accordance with the relevant Codes and standards, and Subsidiaries procedures, Quality Control Plans / Inspection Test Plans.
QUALIFICATION & CERTIFICATION:

  • Civil Engineering or Civil Diploma;

  • Authorized to work in Russia as a civil professional;

  • Minimum 5 years of proven experience.

TASKS & DUTIES:
  • In accordance with the Quality Control Plan, execute the specific inspections on material, equipment and construction / installation activities on site, following the relevant specified project procedures and standards, issuing the relevant Quality Records, acts, etc;

  • When ever any deviation was found to the project procedues / specification & standards, inform, write and send to the Quality Control Supervisor non-conformances reports;

  • Check the preparation of foundations, Reinforcement, formworks, post tensioning, steel structures and any activity related to civil activities;

  • Check the certifications regarding element mixes, LASTM test, chemical analysis, grain size analysis;

  • Monitor atmospheric conditions during pouring operations, record them and issue relevant reports / acts if required and obtain all necessary signatures;

  • Monitor correct curing operations and issue relevant reports / acts if required and obtain all necessary signatures;

  • Check the sampling operationsand issue relevant reports / acts if required and obtain all necessary signatures;

  • Review the laboratory examination results;

  • Check sub-grade dry density, record the results and issue relevant reports / acts if required and obtain all necessary signatures;

  • Check moisture content, record the results and issue relevant reports / acts if required and obtain all necessary signatures;

  • Check compression strength test, record the results and issue relevant reports / acts if required and obtain all necessary signatures;

  • Check after execution of casting, record the results and issue relevant reports / acts if required and obtain all necessary signatures;

  • Check after concrete pouring, record the results and issue relevant reports / acts if required and obtain all necessary signatures;

  • Verify special processes and the relevant workers qualifications;

  • Check the conformity with the Quality Control Plan and obtain the relevant documentation;

  • Orderly collect and manage / check documents certifying test, controls and inspection documents, ensuring that all civil works and testing related records are properly retrievable within the final As-Built dossier;

  • In Case of subcontractor activities, ensure the correct implementation of the approved Quality Control Plans / Inspection Test Plans, witnessing inspection and collecting relevant Quality Control records;

  • Assist in the submission of quality records / Acts to the project computerized sysytem for measuring the progress.

Required Candidate profile


Must be having Industrial Construction ( Industry part..) In accordance with the Quality Control Plan, execute the specific inspections on material, equipment and construction / installation activities on site, following the relevant specified project procedures and standards, issuing the relevant Quality Records, acts, etc;

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform all measurements and quantity assessments in line with the methods of measurement stated within the Subcontract documents.
  • Complete material take-off to the full extent possible from Drawings.
  • Check and verify re-measurement prepared by subcontractor, either in terms of quantity and / or in terms of measurement convention taken and / or in terms of contractual entitlement.
  • Study all quantum justifications given by subcontractor for any work order, variation request, offers and the like.
  • Keep all Measurement files adequately archive and stored for an easy and efficient retrieval.
  • Participate in meeting regarding reimbursable items with Subcontractor.
  • Compile Final Bill of Quantities and report for Close Out analysis.
REQUIREMENTS:

  • Education: Bachelor of Science (+) / B.Eng. (+)
  • Knowledge of languages: English, Russian (preferably)
  • Years of working experience: 3 (+)
  • Methodical way of thinking;
  • Good knowledge of construction;
  • Excellent communication and negotiating skills;
  • The ability to absorb complex information and assess requirements readily;
  • Excellent knowledge of estimating software, CAD and all Microsoft Office Suite applications.
