Contracts Coordinator (Kazakhstan)

Job duties:
     * Provide a wide range of contractual support and other general assistance to the project team –  Construction managers, Construction superintendants and representatives, and others. Prepare correspondence to Contractors on routine contractual matters for approval by project Representatives.
    * Act as a liaison between Project Construction teams and other Departments such as Finance, Legal and SCM Contract Formulation.
    * Act as a focal point for addressing all contractual issues of the project. 
    * Be initiative and self-starter, act upon tasks proactively. Lead the contracting process for the project.
    * Review correspondence from Contractors and ensure that replies are prepared when necessary. Will participate in the preparation of these responses where appropriate or required
    * Prepare and raise Service Orders, Change Orders as required for approval by K3W managers for issue to Contractors.  
    * Prepare Contract Requirement forms, Contract Review Committee forms when required.  
    * Advise the Project Controls Supervisor and other Company Representatives on any contract related changes (Change Orders, Amendments)
    * Raise Contract Supplements / Extensions / Change Orders in coordination with SCM Contracts Formulation group for approval by Company Representatives and obtain Contractor signatures also.
    * Manage the projects construction contracts and Service Orders.
    * Obtain guarantees, insurance certificates etc. as required from Contractors and forward to SCM Contracts as necessary for review and approval.
    * Participate in contractual meetings with contractor and SCM group. Organize meetings with contractors as requested and/or required by the project team.
    * Prepare and conduct bid process via Ariba eSourcing system. Coordinate the bid evaluation process. Negotiate with contractors on behalf of project team to get their agreement on  contracts General Terms and Conditions.

    * MS Excel, Word, Outlook, eProcurement tools – Ariba Contracts Workbench, eSourcing, Creating Work Requests/Change Orders.
    * Teamwork attributes are important
    * 3+ years of experience    
    * Higher educational degree
