We have an opening in Retail Sector for Multiple positions for an International Location (Africa).

1. Category Manager-Apparels
2. Category Manager-Electronics
3. Category Manager- IT
4. Category Manager- FMCG
5. Category Manager-Fresh Food
Job Responsibilities:
1. Buying and Merchandising / Purchasing
2. Vendor engagement
3. To develop business model for increasing and sustaining reach for products
2. Responsible for Entire Purchase of the organisation
3. To develop Brand corners of vendors in store
4. Pricing and Margin Fixation for the different products for the Entire corporate
5. Vendor Reconcilations with respect to procurement, display amount generation, in store promotional activities, promotion planning and returns.
6. Highly skilled in Negotiating and closing the deals with vendors
7. Getting better deals from suppliers for promotions and better prices for customer attraction.
8. Demand aggregation / purchase planning for the specific category.
9. Planning weekly promotions to attract customers and increase the sales of the supermarkets.
11. Motivating Sales team to increase retail sales.
12. Generating regular reports of slow moving / zero moving / expiry items and acting accordingly.
