Principal Accountability:
Process Safety Operations:
Takes responsibility for HAZOP analysis on existing and new operating procedures for plant equipment, taking responsibility for all HAZOP, SIL study and other process risk management studies inside the Refinery as directed by management.
Takes responsibility for process safety in specific operational units as assigned by management. Ensures the approval of all deviations from performance criteria for equipment critical to process safety by carrying out review and approval procedures in accordance with company guidelines.
Provides process safety expertise and support to the Process Engineering Sections and Laboratory Sections as required in the implementation of new products and processes.
Increasing company sales.
Expanding customer base.
Developing & managing sales strategies.
Compiling & analyzing sales figures.
Collecting customer feedback & performing market research & analysis reports.
Following up on new business leads, achieving successful conversion into orders & achieving financial objectives.
Ability to establish & maintain personal network as well as relationships with major customer accounts, government officials, private industry officials, professional personnel and others.
Structuring sales administration, monitoring the sales teams performance and motivate them to reach targets.
Keeping up to date with products & competitors activities.
Evaluating & verifying employee performance through review of completed work assignments & work techniques.
Knowledge of principles & techniques of administrative management including organization, planning, staffing, training, budgeting & reporting.
Reporting relationships:
The Bitumen, EMB & Emulsion Sales and Admin. Manager reports to the Managing Director and Companys Group Chairman.
Main roles & responsibilities for this position:
Strong leadership & interpersonal skills.
Proven sales record and commercial/administrative expertise.
Sound knowledge and selling experience of Nigerian Bitumen, Emulsion & PMB (road construction) market.
Outstanding negotiation abilities.

Proven planning & organizational skills.
The ability to work calmly under pressure.
Perfect knowledge of English language both written and spoken.
