    We have an excellent opportunity for the role of Assistant Manager - Operations with a leading Dubai based luxury tour management company

    About the Company 

    Our Clients offers seaplane tours to take an aerial sightseeing tour of Dubai in the world renowned Cessna 208 Caravan amphibian aircraft. From private charter and corporate events to daily Dubai City Tours and overnight tour packages, Our client caters to the needs of all tourists, residents and corporate entities in the UAE. This Tourist activity is creating waves in Dubai's ever-expanding Tourism Sector. 

    Job role - Assistant Manager.

    Job Location - Dubai

    This role is the connecting link between clients and partners. To ensure the smooth operation of a package from check in to check out. Will handle passengers remotely, organize transportation, liaise with partners, and generally make sure the package runs smoothly, efficiently and handle any crisis that may come up.

    Skill set and requirements:

    Must be hands on as this role is much more than operation and coordination. It has a strong commercial acumen dimension. 
    A bachelor's degree in any discipline 
    Work experience of working in Destination Management Companies and/or Tour Operators.
    Systematic - Daily management of tours, staff and partners, developing and enhancing SOPs, auditing the same 
    Capable of commanding respect and providing discipline yet able to inspire clients and staff.
    Good Communication and Coordination skills: will manage client requirements. They will also work with partner staff, contractors and other external parties involved in the package logistics at the same time. 
    Customer service and interpersonal skills are required to ensure constant and accurate communication.
    Internal coordination: to ensure constant, transparent, accurate and positive communication within the internal departments (RES, GS, RS, sales force, marketing, accounting and any other dept.). 
    Calm under Pressure: Things may go wrong during a customer experience, they need to remain calm during crisis and handle the high pressure of ensuring impeccable service and operations.
    Problem-Solving Skills: In case something goes wrong during an experience, being able to quickly solve the issue is required.

    Sales Acumen: They will need sales acumen to up-sell during customer interaction if any transport add-on or additional lifestyle packages etc.

    Auditing: Ensure that the Line Manager is given a correct feedback on the progress of the experience, in terms of clients, partners and contractors and ensuring accurate platform for various strategic decisions.
    Client relations: to ensure the regular, professional, accurate communication with clients (welcome calls, welcome mails/letters, package guidelines, feedback). 
    Team spirit and positive attitude: positive and constructive attitude at all times.
    Leading by example: one of the main required qualities of this role are - punctuality, proactiveness, self-initiative in taking up the organizational challenges, looking very sharp. A role in operations must reflect these values
    Organization: Many things happen all at once while managing an experience. They need to stay focused and organized so that the experience goes off without a hitch.

    Computer Skills: Rely on computers to communicate, plan, and organize the days events.

    Willing and available: should be willing to be available to manage any crisis situation irrespective of time and place
