HSE Manager for Shutdown Project in Qatar

We have an urgent opening for Qatar

Position:- HSE Manager (Shutdown Manager)

Job Details:-

a) Responsible for managing the HSE aspects of the contract to ensure that ‘Goal Zero’ is met within the CONTRACTOR’s area of responsibility.

b) Engineering Graduate – Preferably Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical

c) Must have more than 15 years’ experience in maintenance work in the Petrochemical, Petroleum Refining or Power generation industry

d) Minimum 5 years in HSE Manager/ or lead position

e) Must be able to work with computers utilizing Microsoft Windows and Office suite of packages.

f) Must have a diploma or equivalent in HSE & Safety Management – NEBOSH Is MUST

g) Must be capable of managing and executing HSE audits, site, procedures and HSE Plan.

h) Must be capable of producing the relevant HSE related procedures and guidelines and to actively pursue all staff to adhere to the defined HSE Standards.

i) Must be capable of training the staff in relevant HSE topics, as a minimum relative to HSE Induction, Working at Height, Scaffolding, Confined Space, Road Driving and Basic Fire Fighting and Turnaround.

j) Must be capable of obtaining, interpreting and reporting HSE statistics

k) Must be able to read, write and speak English (IELTS 8 Equivalent) and should be able to communicate effectively with the majority of manpower

l) Able to support in the development of JSA/JHS of engineering tasks as required

m) COMPANY has 5W’s incident investigation for low/medium risk FIM reports and CAUSAL LEARNING for medium/ high risk FIM reports
