Position: LTE RF Hardware Engineer
- - Define and document LTE/3G/WLAN RF hardware architectures and performance requirement
- Analyze and simulate RF system performance including spur effects, radio coexistence, and cascaded chain analysis for EVM, IP2, IP3, and NF
- Simulate RFIC design and RF lineup budget with a system simulation tool in order to both reduce simulation time and raise Design Issues ahead of PCB Gerber release.
- Debug and analyse RF front end hardware issue and familiar with bench tools like QXDM/QDART for RF bring-up and calibration
- Handle RF coexistence: conditions, mitigation schemes, performance targets
- Familiar with 3GPP UE Test compliance requirements TS 36.521 and TS 36.101
- Optimize power consumption and performance of RF systems
- Selection of LTE/WLAN/BT front end modules (FEMs) to meet system performance requirement, cost, size tradeoff analysis
- Possess hands on experience in Log Analysis, Issue Debugging and troubleshooting, performing RF Calibration, Updating the Calibration data.
- Oversee and analyze key systems engineering architectural and implementation trade-offs; design of high performance, low power, high quality products; developing pre-net list PCB floor plan feasibility considering package, SI, EMC, and RF issues for place and route guidance; power budgeting and analysis.
- Knowledge with VoLTE, IMS, MIMO, Carrier Aggregation technology and implementation.
- Experience with Qualcomm based chipset and lineup is critical
