Tradeasia International Pte. Ltd. is a privately owned, independent company headquartered in Singapore. We are a global trading organization providing integrated chemical procurement services with certainty and trust, which makes Tradeasia unique. Commodity manufacturers are in need of raw materials for the production of chemicals and it is usually not available in the same region. Big chemical manufacturers focus mainly on their production process and output. They distribute in bulk vessels and are sometimes not able to support commodity manufacturers for container loads. Additionally, some markets are difficult to penetrate owing to volume requirement and financing.
- MARKETING MANAGER
We are looking for a Marketing Manager for our Jakarta office. Interested candidates who are willing to re-locate to Jakarta are welcome to apply. Work authorization will be provided by the management.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. To support the overall marketing objectives of Tradeasia internally and externally.
2. To conduct market research, source and identify potential customers and Suppliers.
3. Responsible for meeting the sales target for the entire team.
4. Accomplishes marketing and sales objectives by orienting, training, assigning, and disciplining employees; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions; planning and reviewing compensation actions; enforcing policies and procedures.
5. Achieves marketing and sales operational objectives by contributing marketing and sales information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans, implementing change good for the organization.
6. Marketing and sales objectives to be achieved by planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating advertising, merchandising, and trade promotion programs; developing field sales action plans, using various new Marketing and Sales Technologies.
7. Excellent communication (especially English proficiency) and time management skills as well as ability to handle multi products and priorities.
8. Identifies marketing opportunities by identifying consumer requirements; defining market, competitor's share, and competitor's strengths and weaknesses; forecasting projected business; establishing targeted market share.
9. Ability to effectively interact with customers in a fast paced environment, sometimes under pressure, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient, with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
10. Sending Daily reports on business activities on General Manager and Managing director.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
1. 2-3 years of experience in Business Development and Marketing in the field of chemical trading.
2. MBA from a reputed university is preferred.
3. Experience in commodity trading is a must.
4. Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering or related subjects.
5. Should be highly self-motivated with good and fair negotiation skills
6. Proficiency in English is required.
7. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Internet Browsing and Computer Skills.
8. International exposure is also an additional advantage.
9. Willing to re-locate to Jakarta temporarily.
