Lead Functional Testing Engineer - Automotive

Lead engineer shall understand customer specific Functional safety process and performs the functional safety support activities. Activity includes but not limited to: Co-ordinate end to end System verification/ Validation/ Report generation and delivers iso26262/customer specific work products. Helps the customer towards achieving Organization specific Functional Safety compliance. Co-ordinate/Handle Onsite - Offshore team for on time delivery/issue handling and status reporting. Driving the team, identifying customer pain area and providing pragmatic solutions. Support for release recommendations

Primary Skills:
Detailed knowledge and proven experience in Functional Safety Process (ISO26262 - OEM Level)
Defining Item (End to End), Perform Impact analysis ( Vehicle Level- OEM approach ) Perform Hazard analysis & Risk Assessment (Body / Chassis/Powertrain/ Electricals)
Experience in deriving Functional Safety Concept/Functional Safety Requirements/Technical safety Requirements/FMEA/FTA/DFA
Evaluating Safety case and authorize safety release recommendations
Sound knowledge and specialization in system engineering and testing includes:
End to End Test rig validation which includes sensors, actuators and ECUs of vehicle network including Gateway, input simulation systems, Motors and Actuators /Electro mechanical systems 
Vehicle Level validation includes functional testing , performance testing and safety/security aspects testing
System level requirements management in OEM level
Network Architecture & Integration
Very sound knowledge and wide experience in CAN,LIN and FLEXRAY bus network including Vector tools &TTTech data logger.
Experience in Handling/modifying DBC and FIBEX files
Very good at handling Test and Measure equipment such as signal generators, storage oscilloscope etc
Good trouble shooting skills in Test environment and Vehicle network
Sound knowledge in XML format to analyse ZDC files
Experience in ISO26262 Functional safety verification/validation, Fault Injection testing, ASIL attribute based testing, Safety goal based testing, Safety requirements based traceability and safe state verification
Very good in communication / analytical skills and proposing better solutions for customer

Onsite engineer shall understand customer specific Functional safety process and performs the functional safety support activities . Activity includes but not limited to : End to End System verification/Validation/Report generation and delivers iso26262/customer specific work products. Co-ordinate Offshore team for On time delivery/issue handling and status reporting to Onsite Lead Engineer. Co-ordinate, advise & ensure execution of customer specific Functional Safety activities to guidelines.
