Food Production Chefs
Due to continued growth in our business, we are looking for switched on, dedicated and hard-working candidates to join our business as Production Chefs.

As part of this role, you will be required to:
- Be hands-on in all aspects of food preparation and production
- Take partial or full end-to-end responsibility for food production
- Be involved in R&D and recipe development
- Wash down production areas at the end of shift
- Take charge of production planning, labour productivity and team management
- Train new team members on food safety and production procedures
- Administer internal food safety system
- Forecast inventory requirements and liaise with suppliers
- Work long shifts (10-12 hours) with early 7am starts
- Assist with dishwashing, cleaning, packing and dispatch duties as needed from time to time
We are looking for someone with the following characteristics:
- Formal qualifications in commercial cookery, food production or culinary fields (preferred)
- A minimum of 3 or 5 years experience as a Chef
- Experience in a bulk food production or manufacturing environment preferred
- Well versed with HACCP and food safety procedures
- Well versed with various cuisines (Indian, Asian, Western)
- Intelligent, switched on, with great attention to detail
- Hard working, reliable, dedicated
- Natural leadership abilities, with the ability to coach, direct and motivate team members
- Takes initiative to implement new ideas and process improvements
Salary:
- AUD $55,000 per annum + re-imbursement of visa application costs
- 2 or 4-year contract
- Pathway to permanent residency
