Scope of Responsibilities
Leads, directs and manages the team responsible for ensuring overall quality of software within the MFS operating environment;
Evaluates current QA systems and capabilities and implements new practices and systems to ensure an optimum QA framework;
Leads collaboration efforts with directors and Sr. Managers to implement the framework within existing SDLCs while ensuring adherence to operational controls
Directs and prioritizes projects and work based on risk, exposure and available resources
Designs and implements quality system and testing strategies aimed at making software products defect free
Directs staff in the development and implementation of departmental policies procedures and programs;
Provides the necessary back-up to the Proposal/Project Manager regarding contractual issues relating to Quality both during tender and project execution phases.
Coordinates the Preparation of Project Quality Plans, Quality Control Plans and Projects Quality Procedures which guarantee compliance with contractual requirements and ISO Standards.
Coordinates and supervise all the Quality Control activities ( mainly regarding RHM and Subcontractor activities)
Qualifications
Bachelor s Degree or Equivalent work experience:
Shall have demonstrated knowledge and training in ISO-9001 international standard or equivalent
10 yrs of direct exp. in Quality Assurance system activities of which five(5) year must be in managing quality systems relating to the Contract of Scope of WORK
(E.G. : OIL, GAS & PETROCHEMICAL PROJECTS, INFRASTRUCTURE , COMMUNICATION)
Experience with software quality assurance systems, tools, techniques and processes.
Knowledge and exp. with software development lifecycle models including both waterfall and iterative or agile approaches
Exp. managing both onshore and offshore QA team members
Knowledge of quality mgmt system such as CMMi or Six Sigma certification
Ability to design and deliver presentations to diverse audiences including groups that include senior management and administrative staff members
as well as group that include technical and non-technical personnel
