Qualifications
Essential:
Relevant Bachelor of Science degree, or equivalent.
Desirable:
Membership of a relevant, recognised technical professional body or institute.
Formal architecture design training.
Formal leadership training.
Skills/Experience/Knowledge
Essential:
Demonstrable experience in technical and solutions architecture design on large complex systems involving multiple interfaces.
Experience of complex integration projects involving multiple 3rd parties.
Solid technical background and involvement in the full SDLC for large systems.
Solid commercial awareness and ability to interpret technical contract requirements.
Exposure to various methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, V-model)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proven track record of leading small and large teams.
Ability to communicate across all levels of the business.
Ability to exercise creativity in technical direction and successful strategy development.
Successful technical problem solving skills
Desirable:
Understanding of financial reporting systems
Involvement in ISO9001 based engineering development processes
Familiarity with MS-Project, Suretrack and/or Primavera for planning purposes.
Development background.
