This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced
Landscape Supervisor to join with most reputed and leading real-estate Company
in Doha, Qatar.
As Landscape Supervisor you will be responsible for the
planning and management of the grounds maintenance and landscape programs for
our all real-estate projects. This position will be responsible for the
supervision of grounds / landscape personnel for the full range of grounds work
including the planting, cultivation, fertilization, and maintenance of lawns,
flowers, trees, shrubs, and related grounds / landscape plantings and areas.
Key
Responsibilities
• Oversee, coordinate, and inspect the work of Grounds
and Landscape personnel in the planting, cultivation, irrigation, and care of
various grounds landscape plants and ground covers.
• Supervise pest and weed control spraying, pruning, tree
trimming, and minor tree surgery and, as appropriate, supervision of removal
and replacement of dead or damaged trees, landscape plants or grass.
• Supervise the maintenance, repair, installation, and
modification of irrigation systems; the selection, use, and maintenance of
gardening tools and equipment.
• Establish and adjust work schedules as needed; develop
planting and fertilization programs; preventive maintenance and scheduled
maintenance programs.
• Inspect grounds and landscape work for compliance with
established goals and expectations.
• Supervision of Landscape Services employees
• Responsible for long-range planning and the overall
design and maintenance of the grounds and landscape area to meet the desired
results
Skills
- Diploma / Bachelor degree in landscaping or
horticultural Engineering
- Comprehensive knowledge of horticultural techniques and
methods, soils and climatic conditions in Meddle East region.
- Knowledge of weeds and their general growing
characteristics and pest and plant disease control and standards of proper
grounds maintenance.
- Strong communication, leadership, problem solving and
analytical skills
