operates a large fleet of land rigs, offshore rigs and island rigs, as well as
a Multi-Purpose Service Barge and 6 Water-well rigs. Supports the oil sector in
the Emirate of Abu Dhabi is widely acknowledged and appreciated. The company
achieved a prominent status in the drilling industry in UAE and became the preferred
choice in providing services such as drilling, electric logging and wire line.
This is 2 year contract position based in Bu Hasa camp (190KM South West of Abudhabi), the purpose of the position is to train and develop UAE Nationals in Electrical Engineering and related disciplines, based on gap analysis findings so that they achieve required knowledge and skills to perform according to the company standards. Assess the competence of candidates against the established standards, and provide necessary co-ordination to ensure that the training activities are carried out effectively and efficiently. Develop and compile Electrical curriculum for various training requirements including HSE RigPass and various rig equipment and deliver such training programs at the BAO Training Center as per schedule.
The candidate (must) meet every requirement as per the following:
a) BSc in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
b) Over 5 years of Electrical Maintenance experience in drilling industry and at least 3 years of teaching / training experience.
c) Good knowledge of competency based programs and drilling (electrical) curriculum.
d) Fluent in verbal and written English and Arabic language.
e) Excellent presentation / interpersonal skills.
f) Highly computer literate.
