- Should be B.E./ B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering with min.10 years of exp. in FMCG/ Food Industry, out of which preferably with 3-5 years in a Biscuit/ Candy Manufacturing industry.
Responsible for biscuit and candy factory maintenance and operation of the utilities and facilities in terms of lighting, generators, gas station, air conditioners, compressors, boilers etc.
Preventive maintenance and attending to break-downs in biscuit lines, mixers packing machinery.
Preventive maintenance and attending to break-downs of Generators upto 810 KVA, both diesel and gas operated.
Preventive maintenance and attending to break-downs of screw compressors and two stage compressors.
Knowledge and work experience of 11 KV/ 440V, 500 KVA transformers sub-station including stabilizers and distribution protection system.
Preventive and break-down maintenance of steam-boilers upto 3.5 ton capacity.
Preventive and break-down maintenance of 100 TR centralized AC plant (Blue Star) and standing units of AC Plant and Window type air-conditioners.
Preventive and break-down maintenance of candy machines like depositors, FFS packing machines, sugar coating machines, gun machines, biscuit cutting lines, and in pillow packing machines.
Preventive maintenance of dehumidifiers.
Fault rectification of electrical and instrumentation, regarding biscuit and candy line machines.
Planning and execution of manpower, handling of supervisors and electricians for general shifts and regular shifts with assigned work.
Work experience and knowledge of PCL and different machineries.
Maintenance and purchase of minimum spares in electrical engineering, particularly for generators and all machinery and to maintain minimum and maximum level of inventory to avoid break-downs.
Management and supervision of all Maintenance staff including administrative monitoring, discipline and control of Nigerian Maintenance Technicians.
To monitor and control energy consumption efficiently and to maintain efficient energy standards in the factories.
To conduct quarterly audits of the various plant and machinery at the factories and submit an impartial report to the top management with regard to their efficient running and energy consumption/ saving.
