- To do installation, calibration, trouble shooting, repair and testing of all instrumentation, F&G and Telecom scope of
work as per supervision requirements.
Ensure that Safety, Quality & Environment requirements of the yard are strictly met.
To Install, Configure, Calibrate and maintain instruments used for Control, Measurement and Indication (Pneumatic,
Hydraulic, Analog, Digital etc.)
Onsite and laboratory testing of instruments ensuring analysis is carried out with established methods, Instructions and
Quality standards on wide range of instruments including Electrical, High voltage, Temperature, Pressure and process & Gas
Monitoring Devices.
Installation & Termination of Electrical, Pneumatic connections in both Hazardous & Non-hazardous Zone.
Installation and testing of instrument tubing and hook ups.
Installation, alignment, and testing of F&G systems.
Testing & Certification for operation of instruments and systems using proper testing devices & procedures.
Calibration of Components, Instruments & Systems.
Programming, testing and trouble shooting of PLCs.
Preparation and analysis of Calibration Procedure, Instructions and Standards. Perform hot loop checks of instrument, fire and gas, telecom and electrical control loops.
Perform instrument and control functional verifications with DCS/IAS systems.
To carry out trouble shooting of electrical, telecom and instrumentation control circuits.
To carry out all pre-commissioning and commissioning activities involved with all instrument scope of work.
Keeping up to date with advances in technology in Industry & Trade.
Should have knowledge of marine electrical, instrumentation and telecommunication systems and their working principals.
Able to Consulting Manuals, read and interpret P&ID, Data sheets, circuitry and one line drawing.
Able to use all kinds of testing and calibration instruments.
Conversant with different class rules, standards, quality and safety requirements.
Good knowledge in Microsoft office especially in excel.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Diploma / ITI in electrical/Instrument engineering.
- Five (5) years experience
