- Purpose of the Position
The overall purpose of the position is to ensure contractual liabilities are maintained on all agreements from both a qualitative and quantitative basis. The Manager will be responsible for the operational and commercial performance of the Pest Control Operations across the UAE which reports to the Khadamati department. Services are applied in a matrix style to both internal customers in Facilities Management and also directly to external clients as standalone contracts.
The job description covers the main day to day activities of the Manager - Pest Control, but are not limited to the below. Responsibilities may change due to business requirements and it is expected that the Manager - Pest Control will be flexible and carry out duties as directed by the Senior Manager - Khadamati.
Key Responsibilities
1. Prepare yearly budgets for the Pest Control Department including manpower, equipment, consumables and any related costs
2. Work with local authorities and internal stakeholders to ensure cos complies with regulations and laws for the delivery of Pest Control services in each of the operating territories.
3. Effective management of operational resources to deliver pest control services to both internal and external clients of co.
4. Periodic reporting of both a qualitative and quantitative nature against agreed key performance indicators and service levels
5. Work with business development to secure new Pest Control agreements with both existing and new clients to ensure commercial targets are exceeded.
6. Ensuring the safety of all stakeholders in the delivery of Pest Control services
7. Develop forecasts with Management based on contractual milestones and new business
8. Development of business plans for new markets, business sectors and opportunities.
9. Develop and approve method statements for the application and delivery of pest control services that ensures the highest levels of safety and best practice methodology are adhered to.
Employee-specific Responsibilities
1. Making strategic decision on tendering for new Pest Control Business
2. Representing co. at conferences and as a representative for Pest Control Services
3. Working with various business units to carry out research topics to present as case studies and at conferences.
4. Monthly reporting
5. Ensuring all documentation is available onsite both operationally and also for health and safety
6. Ensuring team are 100% compliant with method statements and use pre-approved consumables and equipment for the operation of pest control
7. Ensuring operational teams adhere to the use of personal protective equipment and all other procedures in the application of pest control services.
