This position is within the Supply Chain Department and reports to the Food Store Manager.

The jobholder is responsible to supervise over daily routine activities of Main Stores and other activities spanning across connected departments within the company and other companies involved in main store activities.

Key Accountabilities:

Advice the Food Store Manager on all matters relating to the supplies thereby ensuring that adequate levels of stock are maintained at all times. 
Well versed with airlines catering industry, flight schedule, Galley Loading Plan (GLP), packing lists.
Plan shift activities based on the workload and duty roster.
Maintain proper Service Level Agreement (SLA) with internal and external customers. 
Adhere to the budget figure and comply with the approved Overtime plan. 
Monitor the performance of the staff in the shift from efficiency, compliance and safe working place point of view. 
Ensures proper alignment of the work flow i.e., offload process and load in Just In Time Mode. 
Ensures all ad-hoc departmental requirements are supplied as per the department requirement specifications and timelines.
Ensure to communicate alerts on challenges beforehand to the manager and work on implementing safe and timely measures to avoid lapse in the workflow and the department total output. 
Ensure all company policies related to Food Safety, general safety, inventory and security measures are adhered to all the times.
Maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and train the staff in the department
Supervise staff performance and ensure work discipline is maintained at all the times. 
Ensure all assigned staff is professionally supervised, to achieve the objectives agreed upon with and provide the necessary guidance whenever required.
Responsible for implementing safe working practices and procedures in accordance with company policies and practice Company Health and Safety Policy and procedures.
Apply the Quality Policy and Quality System established in accordance with ISO 9001:2008 international standards and execute all responsibilities according to the department work procedures while reflecting Company Quality Policy.

Requirements and Competencies:

Qualifications: 

Higher Secondary Education or equivalent qualification.
Proficient in Microsoft Office. 
Strong experience in ERP Inventory and sales modules.
Substantial experience in warehousing, distribution and logistics. 
Capable to manage large numbers and tasks under this immediate responsibility.
Understand and capable to set and reset priority.
High standards of verbal and written communication in English.
Able to work and perform under significant pressure in a 24x7 working environment.
Demonstrated ability to motivate and supervise staff.
Strong planning and organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and manage time effectively.

Experience: 

3-4 Years of expereince in similar role
Aility to work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.
Demonstrated ability to maintain constructive relationships with others.
High level of commitment to continuous improvement and adaptability to change.
