20 F&B Supervisor (Canada)

Experience: 5 to 10 yrs.

  • Maintain the professional standard of the hotel and personal hygiene of staff, good relations with all guests and ensure their satisfaction.
  • Monitor food preparation methods carefully
  • Ensuring customer enquiries are dealt with quickly, efficiently and courteously.
  • Handling customer enquiries and complains about food quality and service.
  • Maintaining hotel standards and taking ownership of guest satisfaction.
  • Producing plans to maximize/increase sales and profit of the organization.
  • Liaising with customers, employees, suppliers, licensing authorities and sales representatives etc.
  • Making improvements to the running of the business.
  • Maintain and update records of daily arrival.
  • Maintaining statistical and financial records of the restaurant.
  • Compiling and filing end of day records (PDQ, payment receipt, registration cards etc).
  • Ordering day to day supplies of the restaurant.
  • Arrange for maintenance and repair of equipments and other services.
  • Ensure that all accounting transaction and cash handling procedures are in compliance 
  • Provided idea and suggestions for new products, service, technology.
  • Processes to ensure the hotels competitive position and in anticipation of changing customer needs within the dynamic hospitality and gaming environment. 
  • Monitored the delivery and measurement of guest services consistent with the service.
  • Scheduled employees based on volume, demand patterns and scheduled group travel arrangements. 
  • Monitor guest satisfaction processes, and respond to guest concerns and inquiries.
  • Supervised assigned staff to include: hiring recommendations that encompass the hotels diversity commitment; training; coaching; performance feedback, recommending and administering discipline and scheduling.
  • Recruit and monitor staff 
  • Conduct performance appraisal/review for staff members under your supervision 
  • Meet with all managers to review/discuss their staff members' performance appraisals 
  • Meet regularly with department heads to keep informed, offer direction, plan and coordinate.
  • Responsible for informing new members of the Hotel's rules and regulations.
  • Responsible for the administration of the Hotel's sporting and gaming facilities and activities 
  • Responsible for the overall management of the operations of the Hotel 
Graduates or Diploma Holders.
Minimum 3 Years of experience in UK, USA, New Zealand, Australia or Cruise Lines
Age - 25 - 49 years
Worked as Managers or F & B Supervisor in Western Hotels and Cruise
More than 4 years of work experience
Excellent English written and oral communication
