Sales Engineer (Kazakhstan)

We, Emerson Company, a Global Automation Leader,  have open position – Sales Engineer Controls Atyrau 5/2

SUMMARY OF ROLE:

·         Directly engaged and LEAD all appropriate customers to promote and sell the Emerson Process Management Business and BU specific (Valves,  Regulators and Actuators) including Products, Solutions and Services in the Western Kazakhstan Region (Atyrau Based).

SPECIFIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

·         Develops new business opportunities (industries, customers, regions) for all BU assigned products: Valves, Regulators and Valve automation
·         Acts responsibly to achieve Sales, Bookings and Gross Profit targets for BU in the whole market
·         Actively visits existing customers to promote the assigned product lines, entire product portfolio and services (maintaining customer base) and to maintain direct sales contacts with the key accounts in the area through regular visits, namely: Oil & Gas Up-stream, Mid-Stream and Down-stream companies
·         Seeks new opportunities to sell assigned products and services to new customers (customer acquisition)
·         To conduct and monitor market analysis and competition surveys
·         Actively keeps up to date a complete definition of the customer organisation (customer database)
·         Maximises both “face to face time” and other communication possibilities (telephone, e-mail, etc.) with customers
·         Negotiates with Customer Business Contracts within the agreed Delegation of Authority - including discount, price and volume structures and issues quotations
·         Observes the “Business Ethics” stipulated by Emerson
·         Accurate reporting within the IT/Reporting systems/forms assigned

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:

·         Technical (Engineer) Degree
·         Good commercial knowledge of the KZ Western Region
·         2+ years of sales experience
·         Fair command of English
·         Customer Orientation & Getting Things Done
·         Interpersonal/Communication Skills
·         Prepared to travel whenever necessary and on short notice
·         Strategic thinking; Problem Solving & Analysis
·         Prepared to undergo technical and commercial training’s whenever the need arises
·         Ethics/Integrity
·         Product & Applications deep Knowledge
·         Prioritising, Planning & Organising
·         Sales Reporting & Analysis
·         Teamwork
·         Innovation/Improvement
·         IT literacy (advanced PC user)
·         Experience in process control industry (Valves and Regulators) and in Project Engineering is a plus
