1. Team Leader
(i) An advance/graduate degree in Transportation/Traffic Engineering or Transportation/Regional Planning
(ii) Around 15-20 years experience in Transportation Planning, travel demand modeling and traffic forecasting sound analytical skills and the ability to clearly articulate and present proposals for policies and strategies
(iii) Should have been a Team Leader in at least five (5) assignments of relevance in the past 10 years
(iv) Must be fluent in both written and spoken English Language
(v) Ability to communicate ideas freely and easily
(vi) Preferably 1-2 years working experience in Sub Saharan Africa
2. Railway Engineer
(i) A graduate of Civil Engineering and a Registered or Chartered Engineer
(ii) Around 12-15 years of cumulative knowledge of in-depth railway networks engineering needs analysis, railway infrastructure deterioration/performance models, railway infrastructure maintenance management systems and knowledge of institutional, financial and policy aspects of railway agencies
(iii) Should have been a Railway Engineer in at least five (5) assignments in conducting strategy analysis and program analysis of railway networks and prepared multi-year prioritized work programs in the past 8 years
(iv) Must be fluent in both written and spoken English Language
(v) Ability to communicate ideas freely and easily
(vi) Preferably 1-2 years working experience in Sub Saharan Africa
3. Transport Economist
(i) An Advance degree in Economics with specialization in Regional Economics or Transport Economics
(ii) Around 12-15 years experience in Transportation Planning to develop regional economic models and thorough mastery of input/output analysis, shift-share and other economic planning models,
(iii) Experience as a Transport Economist in at least five (5) similar assignments dealing with preparation of economic analysis of infrastructure projects/programs in the past 8 years
(i) Must be fluent in both written and spoken English Language
(ii) Ability to communicate ideas freely and easily
(iii) Preferably 1-2 years working experience in Sub Saharan Africa
4. Rail Traffic / Logistics Specialist
(i) A University degree in Engineering, with sound background in transport logistics
(ii) Around 12-15 years of cumulative extensive knowledge in international transport and trade issues pertaining to land locked countries, customs and border procedures and road or rail transport logistics
(iii) Must have specific experience of working as a Freight Logistics Specialist in at least five (5) similar assignments dealing with cross border transport, customs and border procedures for either road or rail transport in the past 8 years
(iv) Must be fluent in both written and spoken English Language
(v) Ability to communicate ideas freely and easily
(vi) Preferably 1-2 years working experience in Sub Saharan
5. Legal Expert
(i) A holder of a Postgraduate degree in Law and be a Registered or Chartered Lawyer
(ii) Around 12-15 years of cumulative experience versed in international law, customs laws, international treaties and conventions and laws governing international transport and trade.
(iii) Should have specific experience of working as a consultant Legal Expert for at least five (5) years
(iv) Must be fluent in both written and spoken English Language
(v) Ability to communicate ideas freely and easily
(i) Preferably 1-2 years working experience in Sub Saharan Africa
6. Environmental Expert
(i) A Registered or Chartered Environmental Scientist
(ii) A holder of a Postgraduate degree in Environmental Management or related discipline
(i) Around 12-15 years of cumulative working experience related to environmental management
(ii) Should have carried out an EIA of at least five (5) projects as a Lead Expert within the past 8 years
(iii) Preferably 1-2 years working experience in Sub Saharan Africa.
(iv) Must be fluent in both written and spoken English Language
7. Finance/PPP Specialist
(i) A University degree in Finance or Accounting with sound background in Commerce or Economics
(ii) Around 12-15 years of cumulative experience related to financial analysis of large projects, provision of advisory services to Governments and a public sector corporations and development of Public Private Partnership initiatives
(iii) Specific experience of working as a Financial/PPP Specialist in at least five (5) similar assignments in the past 8 years
(iv) Must be fluent in both written and spoken English Language
(v) Ability to communicate ideas freely and easily
(vi) Preferably 1-2 years working experience in Sub Saharan.
8. Institutional Development Specialist
(i) A University degree in Management, Human Resources or Law with sound background in Institutional Reforms and Development
(ii) Around 12-15 years of cumulative experience related to strategic planning in transport sector and preparation of master plans, institutional capacity building, human resources management and investment plans.
(iii) Specific experience of working as a Institutional Development Specialist in at least five (5) similar assignments in the past 8 years
(iv) Must be fluent in both written and spoken English Language
(v) Able to communicate ideas freely and easily
(vi) Preferably 1-2 years working experience in Sub Saharan.
