Job Description
Sr. Forms Developer with PL/SQL Skills
The Senior Oracle Developer/Analyst Programmer will be responsible for the compiling of technical specifications from Functional specifications, and developing and maintaining Customers Oracle custom-built applications. The employee will be required to address user requests for the maintenance, enhancements, projects, and new development of Oracle modules using Advanced PL/SQL, Oracle Forms and Oracle Reports. Knowledge and experience of advanced PL/SQL is essential.
In addition to developing and maintaining Oracle packages, procedures, functions, triggers, queries, forms and reports, the employee must be willing to adhere to Customers development and quality assurance standards.

Job Functions
- Assessing and understanding client needs, identifying requirements, writing technical specifications, designing and developing programs to satisfy the needs of internal customers
- Interpreting business process requirements and business specifications, and performing the analysis, design, development, implementation and maintenance of applications software in multiple environments
- Utilizing proficient coding skills to produce software programs that meet department standards and customer requirements and that meet performance standards and requirements
- Mentoring and guiding the technical development of junior and mid-level developers
- Expanding technical knowledge base and disseminating knowledge to others
- Developing in ADVANCED PL/SQL code, Oracle Forms and Oracle reports
- Managing application components as they interact with the database
- Assisting in Capacity planning
- Entity Relationship Modeling (ERM)
- Create high level and low level design documents for the database initiatives
- Implement changes in database design (queries / tables / indexes / procedures) where needed
- Assist in the design and development of user interfaces
- Automation of batch programs using scheduling tools
- Troubleshoot issues where necessary - can include anything from query plan analysis to data integrity
- Perform production support and possibly callout after hours
- Provide feedback to development team on future design changes where deemed necessary
Technical Skills
- Extensive experience in Advanced PL/SQL, Oracle forms and Oracle Reports. Minimum of 8 years experience.
- Experience with Oracle transaction processing systems and one or more of the following: J-Developer, Oracle Designer
- Experience developing applications and participating in full systems development life-cycle
- Experience in requirements analysis and configuration management
- Experience with the design and development of customized software application development
- Experience with Oracle 11g and 12c database technologies
- Experience with developing PL/SQL modules, triggers, functions, procedures, queries, and UNIX scripting
- Must have experience with large backend, transactional databases
