Development Engineer Automotive for Germany

Your tasks:

• Development of products in the field of plastic components in the automotive industry
• Planning and implementation of all development-related tasks on time and on budget
• Coordination of the development process with our customers and suppliers
• Development of project-specific product designs and derivation of detailed drawings
• Create a feasibility study in coordination with the production areas and the purchasing department in the acquisition phase of a project

Your Profile:

• Degree in plastic engineering
• At least 5 years of experience in development / construction in an international environment
• Profound knowledge of 3D CAD CATIA V5 systems ideally in the field of plastics
• Knowledge of Pro E desirable
• Ability to work in an support team environment
• High level of proficiency in computer skills; e.g. word processing, Excel, Power Point, Oracle
• Strong multi-tasking capability and analytical skills
• High energy individual with great communication skills to interact with other departments and customers
• Fluent in English
• Willingness to attend a German language course and an intercultural training before commencement of employment
