Experience:
7 to 11 yrs.
Primary objective;
Analysis & design of various structures, estimation of earth works, drainage design and preparation of design deliverables through designers for the Pre FEED, FEED and Detailed Engineering related to Oil & Gas, Infrastructure, Mineral & Metals and Power projects.
Specific Accountabilities;
Assistance to Chief/Lead Engineer
Adherence to quality assurance system applicable procedure, design basis, applicable design guide/standard/specification etc as applicable.
Adherence to committed schedule.
Technical competence of personnel.
Interdisciplinary communication development
Supervision of civil engineers and designers
Analysis & design using software like STAADPRO including preparation of analysis model, analysis and design input. Review of input and out put and error messages.
Design of pilecap, isolated foundation, raft foundations and machine foundation
Prepare complete design file in electronic mode and submit it to Chief/Lead engineer
Give input to drafting personnel for the preparation of drawings
Checking of drawings including interface with related drawings of own department and other departments
Preparation of drainage layouts and estimation of flows for various services using software
Civil / Structural design integrity of work scope and maintenance of standards.
Excellent knowledge on plot plans and preparation of general civil layouts.
Estimation of earthwork quantities for the site grading
Preparation of scope of work for the topographic survey
Preliminary knowledge about Geotechnical engineering
Promote cost reduction and productivity enhancing initiatives.
Quality Assurance Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the Quality Assurance system relevant to the Project.
Safety Responsible for personal safety safe working practices for the Project. Understand and follow OH&S procedures.
Coordinates civil/structural design activities with other disciplines.
Essential Skills/Experience;
Applicants require experience in working in a Civil/structural engineering team within a large multi discipline project team.
A minimum 10 years of relevant experience in related Civil Structural works.
Experience in software like STAADPRO, MAT3D, XPSWIM, 12D, PIPENET etc,
A Bachelor Degree In Civil Engineering
Total 10 year experience in conceptual studies, FEED and detailed design in reputed consultancy organisation.
