We are looking for Unix administrator with 5 plus years experience . This job is based in Dubai and its an IT company

System administration for Unix Datacenter Consolidation, Server Operations, Server Hardening, Server Deployment & Configuration Management, Migration activities, patching activities on RHEL, HPUX, Solaris, AIX, Symantec VXVM&VCS, Storage&SAN Switches, Vmware Virtualization and ITIL Foundation.
Managing and Build Physical and Virtual machines in different Unix flavours such as HPUX, Solaris, Redhat Linux & AIX
Handling EMC Symmetrix, HP 3PAR storage, HP Blade Enclosure c3000/c7000 and EVA8k storage & Cisco UCS server.
Following on ITIL process like Change, Problem, Incident, Service Request, IMAC tickets & Asset Management
Server Operations, Hardening & Build, Patching & Decomm for Symantec and Sabre project:
- Identifying & Fixing Server Hardening & vulnerability management for operating systems for Linux (HP Blade Enclosure) RHEL4,5,6, Suse11, Solaris, AIX and HPUX.
- Experience of design and Datacenter Infrastructure consolidation and Configuration Red Hat Linux servers with High availability.
-Managing around more than 8000+ Linux, HPUX, AIX & Solaris on HP Blade and HP Superdome & SUN SPARC series servers, IBM p5 & IBM p6 series frame.
- Managing and Administartion HP Blade Enclosure Onboard Administartor & Virtual connect profile
- Co-ordinating with Installation & patching of ESX servers and Vcenter server installation.
- Installing & Removing VMware tools and VM version Upgrade for Linux Virtual machines.
- Creating Virtual machine container on Vmware Vcenter on ESX clustered hosts and install Linux OS.
- Managing and administration of ESX hosts through CLI and VCenter servers.
- Upgrading HP Tools & Firmware Upgrade on Linux HP Blade Servers.
- Taking VM machine snapshot prior to VM tools update in Linux machine
- Working on VM snapshot and vmdk issues using CLI commands.
- Configuring Vsphere Standard & Vsphere distributed switches.
- Working with HP vendor for replacing HDD, HBA Adapter & Interconnect Bays from HP Blade c3000/c7000 enclosures.
- Working Knowledge of Amazon Web Services for Cloud Management for Linux Infratsructure.
- Upgrading Memory & CPU and change network settings in Linux VM machines on Vcenter.
- Migration of Virtual machine using Vmotion technology.
- Deep Understanding of SaaS, PaaS Cloud architecture for AWS.
