2 to 3 yrs.
1. Sales All aspects
a. Sales to current customers
i. Own Group of companies
ii. End Users
iii. Retailers
iv. Wholesalers
b. Identifying potential sales in all industries for following Products--
1. Hand Held Power tools and their consumables
2. Hand tools all types starting from spanners to insulated tools.
3. Air Compressors
4. Welding Machine
5. Industrial Workshop equipment ( Vast products range).
6. Material handling equipment Fork Lifts, Pallet trucks etc
7. Electrical Testing Equipment
8. In discussions with Indian Oil for Agency of Lubricants
9. Entering into a Joint Venture for Heavy Duty Material handling equipment like cranes, forklifts, CAT etc.
c. Meeting end users / purchasing departments forging relationships with them.
d. Identifying Products for wholesale market ( Broad spectrum).
2. Monthly sales targets will be set.
3. Order processing from overseas suppliers, plus identifying potential suppliers.
4. Dealing, preparing quotes, identifying requirements of users, suggesting solutions.
5. Some administration responsibilities
Must have good inter personal skills to deal with Nigerian Customers at all levels.
Must be energetic and feel comfortable travelling in the field on a daily basis.
Must have patience and an persistent attitude.
Should be computer literate in MS Excel / Word / Outlook / PowerPoint.
Literate in English language this is very crucial, as this is the most spoken language in Nigeria.
Must be able to trouble shoot and use initiative.
The right candidate initially would have to spend a lot of time outside the office, visiting clients, identifying new potential clients.
He would have to know how to manoeuvre through various departments to get the job done.
Capable of building and leading a Sales team.
