Project Engineer (Kazakhstan)

Educational Background / Qualifications:

               Must have an Engineering Degree in Mechanical or Facilities Engineering.  Must have an in depth understanding of International Codes and Standards and RoK’s such as, ACI, AISC, ASCE, IBC, ANSI, ASME, BS, ASTM, API, GOST, SNIP, etc. related to the discipline required.

 

Experience:

                Must have a minimum of 10-12 years of experience, preferably within the Infrastructure and Facility camps built to support the Oil & Gas and Petrochemical industries. Experience working with western engineering and design international companies and/or organizations. Experience developing and controlling small Infrastructure, Utilities and Facilities Management projects is required, i.e. engineering design, Autocad drafting, develop specifications, develop Scope of Works and Job Packs. Prepare schedules, estimates, project stauts reports, and material requisitions. Strong in piping mechanical engineering & design. Should show experience taken projects from conceptual to commissioning and handover to owners and operating companies

 

Special Skills / Requirements:

               Mechanical: Must have understanding of typical process plant engineering deliverables such as PFDs, P&ID’s, piping general arrangements, isometrics etc. An understanding of HVAC and building services would be advantageous.

Civil / Structural: Must have strong understanding of typical infrastructure and facilities engineering deliverables such as steelwork and foundation calculations and drawings. Must have sound knowledge of construction materials.

Must have very good communication skills in English and be able to function in a multicultural environment.

Must have strong experience leading projects at any phase or stage of project execution.
