Responsibilities:
- Create technical design artifacts at all levels including high, mid and low level designs.
- Design systems and components using Object Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD) and UML.
- Develop applications using Java, J2EE, Spring Framework and SOA.
- Develop WebSphere/J2EE leads as quickly as possible.
- Build software applications using Maven and Tomcat.
- Conduct software application testing and address technical issues encountered.
Required Skills Sets:
- 6+ years experience with JSPs, Servlets, Struts, Spring Framework, WebSphere Application Server 5.0., and SOA.
- Minimum of the 3 years' experience with J2EE/OO concepts.
- Object-oriented analysis and design (OOAD) and UML skills.
- Proven ability to lead a newly-trained J2EE (WebSphere) development team.
- Experience in model-driven development (building, analyzing, designing, and deploying models).
- Broad knowledge of build tools including Maven and Tomcat.
