Summary
The Financial Planning & Analysis Manager will be responsible for working with the regional finance team to provide key financial analysis and support strategic plans implemented in the region. Key responsibilities includes delivering analysis of monthly forecasts and annual budgets for enrolment, P&L, cash flows, Capex, and collaborating with strategic initiatives implemented across the region.
Essential Job Functions
Analysis of monthly enrollment, P&L and cash flows for the schools, including variances versus expected operating performance.
Manage the production of Capex investment proposals, prepare and deliver ad-hoc analysis & presentations on school’s financial position to both regional and corporate teams.
Prepare consolidation of regional Budget, including enrollment, P&L, cash flows, and Capex plan.
Work with other teams such as treasury in preparing analysis for both regional and corporate finance team.
Ensure accounting, student information, and FP&A systems and processes are current and scalable.
Required Skills
BS in accounting, economics, finance, or related field at a minimum; and/or CFA, CPA, or comparable professional certification is preferred.
Minimum of 3 – 5 years prior experience in financial reporting, public accounting/ audit or transactional services, financial planning and analysis, valuation and/or business development.
Fluency in English
Understanding of US GAAP and IFRS is a plus.
Preference for senior-level analyst experience with “Big 4” accounting/consulting, investment banking, investment management, corporate finance at a >$500M revenue company, or strategic consulting firm.
Exceptional financial skills are a must, including preparation of financial statements, financial models, cash flow statements, income statements, and balance sheets.
Preference for experience with capital expenditure analysis, business analysis, corporate finance and preparing presentations to senior management.
Experience with Hyperion Planning or Hyperion Essbase a plus.
Demonstrated track record of attention to detail and accuracy in a fast-paced and oftentimes ambiguous work environment.
The appointment is for an initial period of one year with the possibility of extension
