HR Relationship Supervisor for ASTAD Project Management, Qatar

Relationship Management:

Business functions:
 Advice the different business departments on the continuous improvements and various issues escalated to ensure that the business needs are identified and met accordingly. 
 Build and maintain the relationship with respective functions/business, Identify the functions/businesses HR requirements to ensure that they are acted upon effectively and the required advice is provided to them.
 Support the business heads by reviewing changes in departmental structure to ensure alignment with the strategy, best practices and businesses.
o Facilitate the implementation of the changes in the departmental structure to ensure alignment with the functional requirements. 
 Provide advice and coaching leaders and employees on all HR-related matters.
 Conduct regular field visits (sites) to ensure close working relationship to enhance high quality and timely HR service delivery. 
 Develop interventions that improve business performance through people and coordinate with the business leaders to ensure effective implementation of the recommended intervention. 


HR Function:
 Provide business voice and context to HR functions to support delivery of tailored solutions.
 Indentify, escalate, advice and implement corrective measures on all HR governance related matters.
 Participate in the investigation and enquiry process in case of such as employees misconduct and grievance. 


HR Administration Support:
 Attend to employee’s HR transactional needs by effectively following it up with HR Administration function
 Ensure timely closure of employee’s requests and HR related requirements by HR administration function, such as employee communication, grievances, exits etc. 
 Ensure effective implementation of all HR administration policies, procedures and requests to respective business functions and employees.


HR Specialist Function Support:
 Facilitate recruitment activities by leasing with required hiring department and the recruitment functions, in issues such as interviewing, selection etc. 
 Facilitate Performance and reward activities by leasing with department and the relevant HR functions in instances such as: annual salary review, performance appraisal etc.
 Advise and generate awareness with respect to HR policies (current and revised) across business functions and act as first point of contact to address related queries. 
 Facilitate and coordinate all training related activities as per respective departmental requirement to ensure effective implementation of training programs.


Continuous Improvement:
 Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of general services systems, processes and practices taking into account ‘international leading practice’, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement. 
Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures:
 Follow all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.


Statements and Reports:
 Assist in the preparation of timely and accurate departmental statements and reports to meet ASTAD and department requirements, policies and standards.
Quality, Health, Safety, & Environment 
 Ensure all relevant quality, health, safety and environmental procedures, instructions and controls are adhered to so that the safety of employees, quality of products/services and environmental compliance can be guaranteed.
Related Assignments
 Perform other related duties or assignments as directed.


Qualifications and Knowledge:
 Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Organisation Behaviour or equivalent
 In depth knowledge of Qatari laws and regulations 

Experience:
 6-8 years relevant experience in the human resources related functions.
 4 years in human resources consultancy preferred.
 Bilingual preferred
