Area Sales Manager for Ajmal Perfumes, Saudi Arabia



    Responsible to monitor and achieve sales and collection targets on a day-to-day basis as defined by the management.
    Supervise and support salesman in their day-to-day activities. ( In sales, collections)
    Make a follow up visits to new customers which are initiated by superiors and initiate activities to explore new areas.
    Make frequent visit to showrooms/distributors and obtain customers feedback on our product and services.
    To obtain information on the latest trends in perfumes and the customer response to such changing trends.
    Implementation of sales promotional activities designed by the superior and report on its effectiveness.
    To maintain a constant co-ordination with logistics team for smooth supply of our products to distributors and shop.
    Update the management on Imitation / Duplication / copy of our products, Designs, Patents, Schemes etc., in the market, if any.
    Constantly monitor and report on competitors activities and movement.
    Regularly update superiors on the sales performance and suggests improvements.
    Periodically update accounts department on delays in payment and to ensure that payments are realized as per terms.
    Suggestion / identifying new location for Showrooms
    To make a note of our sales personnels knowledge about the competitors latest products including its price, capacity, and the type of fragrance.
    Brief the sales team about the characterization of the New Launched products, its price, capacity and the type of fragrance.
    Provide the sales team with necessary information about the Media Plan, Promotion details and Advertisement etc. 

    Reporting:
    Timely submission of weekly / monthly reports.
    Submitting reports on inventory level at each point.
    Timely submission weekly / monthly collection report.

    Showroom:
    Schedule regular visit to all showrooms to observe and report on the following activities:
    To keep a check on window displays and suggest and changes if required. Also give suggestions for any merchandising requirement for the showrooms. 
    To check at random the level of stocks being maintained from each group and to ask for explanation from the In-charge, in case any stock is not available and whether replenished on time.
    To note and observe the manner in which our salesman and sales in-charges interact and deal with the customers.
    To make a note during the visits to various shops and try and understand, the manpower status as far as the sales team is concerned and report if the shops are under staffed or over staffed and put up a proposal accordingly to the immediate senior.
      An MBA with 6-8 yrs of experience in Sales & Marketing. Candidates with  vast experience of team handling in capacity of Area Sales Manager or Sales Supervisor may only apply.
      Must have excellent communication & interpersonal skills. Should be capable to supervise sales team & responsible for achieving desired targets as a whole in the assigned territory efficiently.
