CLIENT BRIEF Linum Consult has been asked by a number of our key clients to source experienced Contracts and Commercial Managers for a number of large scale, mixed-used building/ hotel/ resort projects in Qatar, the UAE and Morocco.
We are urgently looking for suitably qualified people with experience working for either main contractors, consultancies or developers. For all roles experience working on complex mixed-use building projects is required. E.g. resorts/ hotels complexes/ high rise buildings/ real estate. Fluent English language skills are mandatory.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
Contracts Managers x3 – Doha
• Relevant Bachelors degree qualification in Civil Engineering/ Quantity Surveying
• Minimum 12 years pre-contract AND post- contract administration/ QS experience
• Relevant project experience from the Middle East
• Previous experience working for developers/ client side Senior Commercial Manager – Doha
• Bachelors degree in Engineering/ Quantity Surveying or equivalent
• 15 years commercial/ contracts experience including Quantity Surveying/ Claims/ Contractual issue/ Costings
• Strong background working for main contractors with relevant project experience
• Preferably already based in the Middle East and IMMEDIATELY AVAILABLE
• Due to visa restrictions applications from US and UK nationals will be given priority
Commercial Manager – Morocco
• BSc qualification in Quantity Surveying or similar with Chartered status preferred
• 15 years’ experience in commercial and contractual administration of contracts on the client/developer side
• Relevant project experience plus previous experience and knowledge of the construction market in Morocco
• Additional fluency in French and/or Arabic required Senior Claims Manager - Dubai
• BSc qualification in Quantity Surveying or equivalent PLUS additional legal qualifications AND Chartered status
• Minimum 15 years commercial and contracts administration experience on very high value construction projects
• Specialist in high value claims/ arbitration processes (working for and against Government bodies)
• Strong FIDIC experience from relevant projects in the Middle East APPLICATION PROCESS
