- Preperation of WPS with relevant qualified PQR for the projects
- QC documentation, Method Statement, and QC plans.
- To get the QC plan approved by the client
- Inspection of Tankage Fabrication Erection and testing of as per standards.
- Witness / review of WPS / PQR / WQT/Lab Testing.
- Ensuring all welding activities is controlled within the requirements of relevant WPS, WI, QCPs & ITPs.
- Verifying & Complying to all QC codes/standards.
- Co-ordination with NDT agencies.
- Preparation of offer for Radiography, UT and other NDT.
- Preparation for Hydrotesting for tanks
- Preparation of As Built Drawings/ Final QC Dossier.
- Carrying out regular ISO audit and record maintenance
- Monitoring and reporting welder performance throughout project duration for specification and code requirements.
- Maintain all inspection report and related documents in QA/QC department.
- Preparation of punch lists and clearance to next stage like Erection, Construction Completion, Commissioning.
- Material identification and review / Verification of raw material certificates.
- Involved in Review of P&ID, Isometric drawings, GAD & Alignment Drawings
- Ensuring the implementation of Quality Control Plans and procedures
- Interacting with the Client Inspector for daily welding activities
- The ideal candidate should have around 4-6 years of hands on experience in QC documentation in the area of Tankages and having worked with a EPC/EPCM/Engg project in the field of Oil,Gas, Petrochemicals & Fertilisers. Graduate degree in Engineering years (B.Tech/B.E) or Diploma in Mech with ASNT, Level II certification in RT. UT, MPT & AWS/ CSWIP
