- Ensure Structure cabling design meets latest standards (Category 6/6A), be able to validate port mapping.
- Understand use of Fiber vs Copper cabling, twisted vs shielded cable, where and when to use
- Patch cord management.
- Install, configure and manage Firewalls, Routers and Switches.
- Understanding of Cloud Computing Environment.
- Standard Configuration Management.
- IP Telephony Configuration Support.
- Knowledge of collapsible network design.
- Knowledge of network topologies star vs bus vs parallel run.
- Knowledge of Classroom AV Technology a plus.
- Manage and troubleshoot dual band wireless networks and segregation of traffic between cell phones and mobile devices.
- Understand Single Sign-on.
- Troubleshoot all technology issues and manage trouble ticket resolution.
- Setup Laptops with standard configuration.
Issue and Manager USER accounts, Password reset issues. - Troubleshoot hardware, software and network operating system.
- IT Vendor Management.
- Knowledge of Biometrics.
- Application Support Liaison with respective vendors.
- Support eMail system.
- Support Digital Library.
- Prior work experience University / College is required.
- Willing to work long hours when needed.
- Self-motivated, team player and excellent communication skills are must.
- Should have worked in providing support for Mac/Apple computers.
Mandatory Requirement : Working Experience in UAE, specially Dubai
Educational Requirement : BE / MCA with 4 - 8 years of experience.
