Roles and Responsibilities
1. Independently manage a nonferrous metal recycling facility (Lead Acid Battery Scrap and Copper Scrap Recycling) having capacity of around 2000 MT of production per Month.
2. Responsible for best recovery and lowest production cost by effectively managing available resources.
3. Responsible for development and adoption of best manufacturing practices to reduce down time.
4. Manage, Lead and Motivate production team along with skilled and unskilled manpower to increase overall productivity.
5. Planning of production cycle and to make sure all the required resources are available to make on time delivery of final products as per plan.
6. Responsible to install, maintain and upgrade required machineries and equipment as and when required.
7. Inventory management of raw material, finished goods, fluxes, chemicals, machineries and spares.
8. Responsible for occupational health, safety and environment management as per policy.
9. Proper communication and coordination with all the concerned stakeholders.
Desired Candidate Profile
1. Experience of around 10 years working in a Non Ferrous scrap recycling plant preferably Lead Acid Battery recycling facility out of which minimum 5 year experience as a Plant Head, leading team of engineers/operators is desirable.
2. Should have very good technical knowledge of Smelting of Lead Battery Scrap in Rotary furnace along with installation, commissioning and maintenance of furnace.
3. Should have experience of Refining of Crude Lead and producing different types of Lead alloys.
4. Should have very good understanding and knowledge of production cost and able to manage it.
5. Should have knowledge and experience of analytical equipment such as OES.
6. Should be very good in quality assessment of different types of Raw materials, Fluxes and Consumables.
7. Should have experience of installation and commissioning of Rotary furnaces and Refining Furnaces along with casting lines.
8. Experience of managing pollution control system (Air and Water) for a Non Ferrous recycling plant.
9. Knowledge about environmental, health and safety regulation and handling compliance accordingly.
10. Sound knowledge of valuation of different types of machineries and experience of sourcing various furnaces and related machineries.
11. First class BE/B.Tech. degree (preferably in Metallurgy) from renowned university
