Troubleshooting Redhat Linux and MySQL and Oracle Database server
Job Responsibilities:
• ServiceNow modules to support the business and IT service management • ITSM practices Work with a team of ServiceNow developers in an agile software development environment • Monitor health and usage of applications • Adhere to standards for implementations in ServiceNow • To ensure consistency and supportability of customizations • Perform platform upgrades and review of key update sets Develop test cases for functional and regression testing
Qualification: • 5+ years of experience is required.
• bachelor’s in computer science or any relevant filed, Masters is a plus.
• Extensive Hands-on Experience 0f 5+ Years in ServiceNow is required. • Possess very strong communication and presentation skills. • Experience and knowledge of Networking technologies and security, VPN, Identity Access Management, VOIP • Strong experience with Windows Server 2008R2 Standard - Windows 2019 Datacenter, VMWare vCenter, Dell VXRail, EMC, PowerEdge server, or other forms of Hyper converged environments • Understanding of NAS and NAS to Cloud configurations, virtual and bare metal backup as well as High Availability solutions • Experience in setup, installation, maintenance, performance monitoring and troubleshooting Redhat Linux and MySQL and Oracle Database server • Experience in converting MySQL database schema (DDL), queries and DML statements, views, stored procedures, functions, and triggers from MySQL to Oracle. Understanding of MySQL’s underlying storage engines, such as InnoDB and MyISAM.
• Experience in-migration from MySQL to Oracle and vice versa. • Strong experience and knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory administration, SSO and Password Management • Strong experience and knowledge of Oracle administration such as adding grants, exporting/importing databases, changing file permissions, transferring files to remote servers, and using vi to modify files. • Strong experience with service troubleshooting, covering web front-end, Systems, Databases and Networks. • Knowledge of limitations in MySQL and their workarounds in contrast to other popular relational databases. • Good practical knowledge of Unix services, DNS, NFS, NIS, Autofs, LDAP, Samba, Apache, FTP, and other Unix services. • Experience in handling common database procedures, such as upgrade, replication, recovery, migration, etc.
