Our client established first chemical fertilizer complex in 1963 and presently manufacturing Ammonia, Urea, Ammonium Sulphate, Sulphuric acid , Salt , Chlorine , Liquid Ammonia , Polypropylene , Ethylene derivative , Polyethylene , Ethylene Glycol , Aromatics , ME Global , Equipolymers., Olefins and Styrene
They are urgently looking for Electrical Engineer to work in Reliability Team in Kuwait, having fertilizer plant/ refinery background

Qualification & Experience 

• B.E (Electrical Engineering) with minimum 10 + years of related experience in fertilizer plant / refinery in similar capacity.
• Proficiency in spoken & written English
• Familiar in use of various computer tools & software for preparing reports & presentation materials.
• Ability to train technician in repair procedures etc
• Adequate knowledge of all preventive & predictive maintenance procedures for all equipments in fertilizer plants

Job Description

• Provides plan with latest technology required to support electrical equipment & electrical maintenance.
• Provides in depth analysis & evaluation of electrical equipment problems
• Has ability to supervise a group of people from different technical backgrounds.
• Troubleshoots & helps to determine electrical equipment problems & root causes
• Develops improvement ideas, issues reports & make recommendations for improvement.
• Leads study , with investigation teams when analyzing & recommending improvements
• Specifies & coordinates the replacement & upgrade of existing units
• Recommends spares & revise spares for description & optimal maximum/minimum stock levels for electrical equipments
• Sets repair procedures
• Perform duties , related to the maintenance of electrical equipments
• Carries out studies & investigation of plant equipment from an electrical & technical aspect for the purpose of troubleshooting, maintenance & design problem etc. Also in relation to their reliability, efficiency, safety etc. Analyses & evaluates all relevant information & make recommendations to solve, improve & eliminate them in coordination with superiors in the sections/units concerned.
• Troubleshoots & helps in determining equipment problem & root causes. Takes part in root cause analysis & develops solutions to solve equipment problems. Reviews equipment repair reports for completeness & accuracy.
• Give advice & direction to electrical maintenance personnel as necessary. Similarly provides, advice, technical information etc. when commissioning / test running plant & equipments
• Coordinates with Kuwait government authorities responsible for power supply including program for the switching of the high voltage main feeders.
• Assists in implementing the management of change process, incorporating & relevant new ideas & technological advances while changing/adding facilities.
• Works according to established procedure & technical standards
