Site & Construction Management:
Anchoring on-site construction activities to ensure completion of project within the time & cost parameters and effective resource utilisation to maximise the output.
1. Reviewing the engineering drawings, technical specifications, cost estimates for change orders, review & analyze contractor's change order proposals & submittals.
2. Inspecting field sites to observe and evaluate condition and operability of facilities and structures, and to collect field survey data and measurements.
3. Execution of site engineering work through contracts as also through directly employed artisans or labour.
4. Co-ordinating the work of the consultants working on site.
Project Planning & Management:
5. Monitoring projects with respect to budgeted cost, demand forecasts, time over-runs to ensure timely execution of projects. Planning the resources to complete the project quantities in the stipulated time.
6. Handling day to day activities to ensure the smooth running of projects as per the specifications and design drawings.
7. Identifying critical issues in any problem and solving them with creative and innovative solutions.
8. Guiding all the foremen and overseeing all the requirements for each type of works from labour to material.
9. Conducting various tests required on sites and maintaining records for the same.
10. Ensuring that all the workmen comply with the practice and principles of safety
system.
11. Training all the site engineers, artisans and labour to execute engineering projects to acceptable standards.
12. Understanding of Projects on a large scale
13. Coordinating various entities involved in successful compaletion of projects : Nigerians & people of other countries & origin
14. Financial Accument related to projects such as BOQ(bill of quantity , Budgets,Variances,Material requisition,manpower requirsition for projects,cost anaylysis
15. Regulatory aspect of the project
16. Technically qualified (full time course) in : Civil,Mechanical Elelctrical.
