Responsibilities
Participate in weekly HSE meetings
Liaise with client HSE representatives
Keep a record of all safety meetings / Tool Box Talks on site (including the details
of subjects discussed and a list of attendees).
Ensure availability of adequate access areas, emergency entrances / exits
Establish Safety, Fire prevention and Security measures required for the protection
of the men, materials, and equipment.
Notify about accidents involving fatality or serious injury
Respond to emergency situations and facilitate the process of fire evacuation,
emergency relief and damage control
Assist in Investigating all accidents and recommend appropriate corrective action/
measures Responsible for implementing HSE policies and procedures in the allotted
project locations.
Conduct routine inspections at work-fronts and inform of any unsafe / hazardous
conditions to the responsible work-front supervisor / discipline engineer
Suggest hazard mitigation methods and ensure adherence to the same
Ensure the process of HSE induction for new joiners
Ensure tool-box meetings at work-fronts
Organize specific HSE training sessions
Conduct periodic HSE audit / inspections jointly with the clients.
Train first aid staff and monitor first aid activities
Arrange for display of Safety posters and literature throughout the job site
Coordinate the Issue and track work-permits
