Experience: 10 to 15 yrs.
Independently manage real estate development projects.
This position involves all phases of real estate development including pre-development, construction management, planning.
Oversee all aspects of selecting development teams for building design & construction including civil engineer, quantity surveyor, mechanical & electrical engineer.
Communicate & work with all staff, consultants, government organizations, senior management.
Assist in the development of the annual operational plan, budgets and performance outcomes. Provide periodic reporting to senior management on the progress of the projects.
Work with banks & lending institutions to provide mortgage products for first time home buyers.
Work with advertising & marketing companies to promote new affordable houses to be built using unique marketing techniques.
Key Qualifications & Experience
Diploma/BE/B-Tech ( Civil) with MBA or similar in related field
Ten years in real estate development of mixed use & affordable multi-family housing construction.
Applicant must have project management experience with extensive knowledge of developing & building affordable housing, systems, including design issues & construction materials & methods.
Ability to understand & work well with building department and all other bodies that would be instrumental in providing permits including water & electric departments & other service organizations pre & post construction.
