Experience: 10 to 20 yrs.
Set up, maintain & manage the End-to-End Supply and Delivery Management Operations in China
Create quality, reliable, timely & cost-effective supply chains involving toll manufacturers, contract manufacturers, raw material & packaging suppliers and third Party logistics (3PL) partners
Act as primary local supply chain liaison, maintaining 3PL contracts as appropriate local registrations etc
Review and negotiate vendor contracts and agreements, and other terms and conditions to for increased supply chain flexibility, reduced costs to achieve company goals and objectives
Manage the delivery process to customers
Expertise in managing entire breadth of commercial operations, supervising and controlling logistics process and services at vendors end.
Managing warehouse relationships, freight optimisation, packaging standardisation, ship forecasting, planning and costing.
Country specific regulations for all customer regulations.
Candidate should preferably be an Engineer (B.E or B.Tech) with Post Graduate Qualifications in Supply Chain or Materials Management having 7 10 years experience in SCM working with chemical or process related industries. Candidates with non engineering degree but having strong experience in Chemical supply chain management are welcome to apply
Candidates preferred from Chennai having knowledge of Tamil.
Candidate should have worked in China and knowledge of local language is a must
