Mosquito coil factory located in Ghana with offices all over West Africa is looking for qualified Factory Manager. The factory manager is responsible for all areas of production and for the supervision of all the factory staff. It is our preference that he should have at least 10 years experience in the field of mosquito coils or something related. He will need a engineering background in terms of qualification and experience. We expect the manager to be responsible for the following:
Long Term Production Target Achievement. To make all necessary machine modifications/improvements in order to achieve the planned targets.
To put forward any cost reduction techniques in all areas of the factory.
To handle all the administrative functions of the manager report generation, local vendors, maintaining vehicles, customer despatches, salaries & other administrative functions.
Maintenance personnel & expertise in the mechanical electrical department must be improved through managers experience
Wastages - reducing wastages so that it goes down below certain percentage
Formula control - manager must be well versed in mosquito coil formulations in order implement changes to formulation to give cost savings.
Quality coil quality must be maintained in terms of strength, separation, etc. Must eliminate any reported breakages and shortages in the finished goods.
Staff Training indigenous staff must be trained and develop in each of the key areas in the factory.
To introduce measures to reduce breakages when coils are taken to and from the drying chambers
To increase the daily output of the packaging lines through various changes & supervision
To ensure no wastages in raw materials consumed.
Regular reports to be maintained for raw materials, packaging materials, finished goods & consumption reports for all expenditure heads
Costing analysis to be carried out to review factory performance.
