- B.Sc. Eng or equivalent Mechanical/ Instrument/ Electrical Engineering from a recognized university.
- Minimum 4 years Middle east/Gulf experience is mandatory.
- Proficiency in English Language (Speak, Read and Write)
- Able to write and express complex ideas, instructions and procedures.
- Proficiency in SAP (PM/MM) is a must and basic knowledge in scheduling software Primavera.
- Knowledge in Material procurement process and preparation of purchase requisitions.
- Knowledge in contract bidding process.
Minimum Work Experience
- Minimum 8-10 years (Min 10 Years for diploma candidate & Min 8 Years for graduate) work experience in refinery or petrochemical Oil and Gas plant in maintenance section out of which minimum 3 years in maintenance/shutdown planning.
- Good understanding on safety requirements, procedures and applying safe work practices during job planning.
- Should posses supervisory background and practical experience in the field of maintenance activities.
- Should have a thorough technical knowledge in respective disciplines
- Major type of Rotating equipments viz pumps, compressors, blowers, turbines etc..and static equipments viz pressure vessels, tanks. Columns, Trays, Furnaces, Exchangers etc..
- Thorough hands on experience in SAP (PM/MM) and MS Office. Also basic experience in Primavera P6.
- Experience in Preparation of Purchase requisitions, Technical evaluation of quotes, finalize the purchase specification and follow-up procurement.
- Co-ordinate services/Contract bidding process, Prequalification process, and Technical evaluation.
- Strong co-ordination & interpersonal skills.
Job Requirements:
- Planning and system support for Shutdown activities through close liaison with the Shutdown Team, Maintenance and Operations group.
- Able to assess and detail the job scope/ steps, identify spare parts, other Material, Manpower and equipment requirement and Estimate duration and cost.
- Ability to identify external service requirements, Preparation of Service/Contract scope. Co-ordinate with contracts dept. to outsource services, mobilizes Vendors/OEMs and support vendors during execution.
- Conduct meeting with maintenance group, equipment reliability group, operations group and record minutes of meeting and follow-up action items.
- Prepare job activities in micro level to support scheduling.
- Able to identify the risk involved in each job, plan mitigation and co-ordinate Job safety analysis (JSA).
- Ability to read complex Drawings, understand Specifications and contract documentations.
- Proven ability to work well both independently and within a team environment.
- Preparation of complete Job packages for execution and Field co-ordination/Support during execution.
- Ability to lead planning technicians
