Working within a multi-disciplined team of Petroleum Engineering professionals, the Engineer will play a key part in the design and development of an expansive drilling program across a mature yet newly acquired field. New regional seismic mapping coupled with historical production data has led to the identification of numerous new drilling locations, and the Drilling Engineer will combine this data with their existing knowledge of the local geology to design and plan the technical elements of the drilling and well construction activities. During execution phases, further reservoir analysis will be used to maximize efficiency and safety of the drilling process. Well site visits will be expected. all candidates must available for joining within one month.
We are looking to speak to talented engineers with 3 5 years experience in drilling or well engineering activities within the onshore oil and gas market. A practical knowledge of the well programs associated with Vertical, Horizontal, Directional and Re-entry drilling is important. Candidates must be educated to (at least) degree level in Petroleum Engineering or a related discipline.
