Experience: 5 to 6 yrs
• liaise with local Freight forwarding agent(s) to grant timely and cost effective Customs Clearance and delivery to site of
the Project equipment/materials.
• in liason with concerned Discipline Engineer and QC Engineer, ensure that, upon arrival to site, all equipment/materials
are inspected for specification, quantity, quality, shipping damage, certification of approval and conformity to Purchase
Order. prepare a Material Receipt Report; damages (if any) to equipment/materials will be registered via a Damage Report
and the item shall be quarantined.
• full responsibility for storage of goods delivered to site, for management of the lay down yard and warehouse, and for
expediting such goods and materials through the project.
• establish a project materials management system, ensuring regular material status reports in
accordance with the relevant project procedure.
• assist the Site Manager in site demobilisation activities upon Project completion.
