Job Description

Ability to create with a strong willingness to try, experiment and learn new things, and share solutions.

Role

• Develop web content management systems and/or mobile (iOS/Android) applications
• Develop & maintain custom plug-ins & modules for platform integration
• Development and enhancement of web / mobile applications on various platforms
• Contribute technical expertise to expand service offering
• Support & maintain Web Services & related applications
• Priority will be given to skilled problem solvers, team players and out-of the box thinkers 

Desired Skills and Experience

Must have

• 2 years experience developing web / mobile applications
• In-depth knowledge and experience with PHP-based systems and RESTful Web Services
• Programming skills: PHP/MySQL, CSS, JavaScript / jQuery / JSON and XML
• Have working knowledge and understanding of iOS & Android mobile platforms
• Understanding of PDLC, Version Control, UX, and self-documenting source code 

Nice to have (advantageous)

• Experience working with non-profit / social enterprises
• Working knowledge and understanding of augmented reality
• Experience with development of HTML5 web experiences
• Contribute to open-source projects
• SCSS / SASS & PHP Frameworks
• reat people skills

Should have

• Diploma or Degree in Computer Science or its equivalent
• Eagerness and demonstrable ability to learn, adapt and assimilate new systems, frameworks and technologies
• Out-of-the-Box, Problem-solving, Team-oriented, User-experience-centric, beyond-hyphenated-words thinking
• Strong hands-on experience with Web technologies, System development, implementation & support activities
• Good source-code & project documentation practices
