Auto Electrician

Job description

We are looking to hire Automotive Electricians for our workshop based in Hamilton who will be responsible for:

• Diagnose and repair the issues in the automotive electrical systems
• Installing and troubleshooting immobilizer, alarm systems electrical components.
• Gathering information from respective customers about issues they are facing with their electrical system and accordingly help to troubleshoot them.

• Figuring out the electrical issues and proposing a course of action for each vehicle.

• Providing customers with an estimated time frame and cost for repairs for their respective vehicles.

• Manage the servicing of electrical automotive parts.
• Ensure that the working space is clean and tidy at all times.
• Preparing the reports and processing paperwork of all the vehicles worked on. Completing the documentation in a timely manner.

• Provide quality customer service to customers and ensure maximum customer satisfaction.

Auto Technician

We are looking to hire Automotive Technicians for our workshop based in Hamilton who will be responsible for:

• Diagnose and repair the mechanical and electrical components of vehicles.
• Understanding clients vehicle history, figure out potential problems, and ensure to ask the services they would like to receive.

• Ensure to perform test drives, inspections, and other diagnostic tests on the vehicles in order to identify what the problem is and determine which parts need repair or needs replacement.

• Preventative maintenance on vehicles, such as oil changes, flushing and replacing fluids, and replacing brakes.

• Damage repair to the body of the vehicle.
• Providing timelines and estimates for the repairs to the customers and discussing all options with the clients.

• Inspecting internal systems and controls to ensure that the vehicle is operating properly and is in compliance with state regulations.

• Keep accurate records relating to all the clients, their vehicles, and service history.

• Ensure to use shop equipment as instructed.
• Perform regular maintenance and repairs on the vehicle as and when needed.
• Learn new skills being on the job and update knowledge to perform the best of your ability.

• Ensure that post working on each vehicle the work station is clean and tidy.
• Ensure that proper health & safety instructions are followed at all times.

You will be required to work for a minimum of 40 hours per week.

Other Requirements:

• Relevant experience is highly preferred with minimum 5 years
• Attention to detail
• Physically fit
• Available to work 6 days in a week (Needs to work on Saturdays and Sunday, take week off during weekdays).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.00 $31.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Shift work
• Weekend availability
