HSE Officer for DOPET, Qatar

A bachelor's degree in occupational safety and health, engineering, or a related field.

Professional certifications, such as the Certified Safety Professional (CSP), the National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health (NEBOSH) qualifications, or the Occupational Safety and Health Professional (OHST) certification.

Knowledge of relevant safety regulations and industry standards, such as the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) guidelines and the American Petroleum Institute (API) standards.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively convey safety information to employees and collaborate with various stakeholders.
Problem-solving and analytical skills to identify potential hazards and develop appropriate safety measures. IGC123

Minimum of 5 years in oil & gas as HSE Officer.

Developing and implementing safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Conducting regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure that safety measures are in place and properly maintained.
Investigating accidents and incidents to determine their root causes and recommending corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
Providing safety training for employees, including hazard recognition, safe work practices, and emergency response procedures.
Ensuring that all personnel wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow established safety protocols.
Coordinating with management, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders to address safety concerns and improve overall safety performance.

Maintaining accurate records of safety-related activities, such as inspections, incident reports, and employee training.

SALARY : 4500.00 QAR + 300.00 Site Allowance. PLUS OVER TIME

Free Food Accommodation and Transportation will be provided by the company.

Duty Hours: - 8 hours a day & 6 days a week

30 days leave after completion of 12 months.
