Store Keeper for Saudi Arabia

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Store keeper for one of our esteemed client in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of stock levels, ensuring the proper storage and handling of materials, and assisting with the timely delivery of ready mix concrete and blocks to various construction sites.

Key Responsibilities:

1.Inventory Management:

• Receive, inspect, and record deliveries of ready mix concrete and blocks.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using a computerized system.
• Monitor stock levels and ensure materials are reordered when necessary.
• Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconciliation.

2. Storage & Organization:

• Ensure that materials (ready mix concrete and blocks) are stored in proper conditions to prevent damage and deterioration.
• Organize and label materials to ensure easy access and retrieval.
• Ensure safe and effective use of warehouse space.

3. Material Distribution:

• Issue materials to authorized personnel or delivery trucks for transportation to project sites.
• Coordinate with site supervisors and drivers to ensure timely delivery.
• Prepare necessary documentation such as delivery notes and receipts.

4. Quality Control:

• Check the quality of ready mix concrete and blocks to ensure they meet required specifications.
• Report any defects or quality issues to the appropriate supervisor.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations in handling materials.

5. Health & Safety Compliance:

• Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
• Implement proper handling and storage techniques to prevent accidents.
• Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.

6. Documentation & Reporting:

• Maintain detailed records of all incoming and outgoing materials.
• Prepare daily, weekly, or monthly reports on inventory status and material usage.
• Assist with auditing processes as required by management.

7. Customer & Supplier Coordination:

• Communicate effectively with suppliers and customers regarding orders, deliveries, and any material-related issues.
• Address and resolve any discrepancies in orders or deliveries.

8. Team Collaboration:

• Work closely with the procurement team to ensure timely replenishment of stock.
• Support the overall smooth operation of the warehouse, assisting with other duties as needed.

Qualifications:

• Candidates should have 4-5 years of experience, preferably in the ready-mix industry.
• Proficiency in computer applications and storekeeping software is highly desirable.
